Trumpette’s owner and creator, Jon Stevenson, was in the men’s fashion industry in San Francisco for a decade before adopting his son Nicky and moving into the world of babies’ clothing. He says that after his son arrived, he noticed that he simply wasn’t satisfied with the clothing available for little boys.

After creating a onesie for Nicky with ‘BOY’ written in huge letters across the front, Stevenson decided to place a few of them in the men’s clothing store he ran at the time. The response was incredible, and Trumpette was born!
